GENERAL INFORMATION
There are two separate student garage lotteries:
- "CG" Garage Graduate Lottery - Eligibility is Non-Appointed Commuter Graduate and Professional Students
- "CG" Garage Undergraduate Lottery - Eligibility is undergraduate commuter students ranks 3 & 4 (juniors and seniors)
The on-line lottery application will be available starting August 3, 2009 through August 15, 2009 at midnight. Customers apply by
visiting the student
e-services page,
click on the link to buy a parking permit, and follow the
instructions on applying for a parking permit. When customers reach the permit selection page, they select the "CG" parking permit they wanted to purchase ("CG1", "CG2", or "CG3"), complete their application request, and are entered into the lottery for that permit type.
"CG" lottery results will be posted on Wednesday, August 19th. Customers will be be notified via e-mail that they have been selected to purchase a "CG" permit and they needed to log back into our web site to complete the purchase process. Those approved for the purchase of a "CG" will then see it available as a permit option on the permit selection page. Customers who do not get the approval e-mail can log back in and select another permit to purchase.
"CG" permits will be reserved for those who win the lottery until Friday, September 11th. Any "CG" permits left after that will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis starting at 7:30AM on Monday, September 14th.

PAYMENT PLAN
If you purchase a "CG" (Student Daytime Garage permit) or "CP" (Graduate Student Residence Hall permit) you will have the option to pay with the payment plan. For more information on this option, please visit the

OVERVIEW AND RELATED INFORMATION
- Those opting to participate in the payment plan will not have the option to purchase on-line and must visit 160 Bevis Hall to purchase their permit.
- "CG" Student Garage Lottery entry deadline is August 15, 2009 at midnight. Recipients must purchase their permit by Friday, September 11th at 7:30PM. All unclaimed "CG"s will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis on Monday, September 14th at 7:30AM.
- Graduate students with a paid appointment: A limited number of staff daytime "BG" garage permits are sold to commuter graduate students who hold a paid appointment. Available garages are: "BG1", which allows access to Northwest, Tuttle, Arps, and Lane Ave. (opens Winter 2010) garages, "BG2", which allows access to the 9th Ave. West, 9th Ave. East, and South Cannon garages, and "BG3", which allows access to the Ohio Union North and 11th Ave. garages. These permits were distributed on a first-come, first served basis starting on Saturday, August 15, 2009 from 12:00 PM - 5:00PM. The following are requirements to purchase a staff garage permit:
- Photocopy of your appointment letter, or departmental documents;
- Valid photo identification;
- OSU Employee ID Number;
- Vehicle Information (make and license plate);
- Payment of any outstanding citations;
- Full permit payment of $609.00, payable in cash, check, (no starter or counter checks), Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card, or American Express.
