PARKING CITATIONS
Citations may be paid in person at 160 Bevis Hall, on-line through our e-services site, through the mail, or by phone by calling (614) 292-9341. The mailing address is: Transportation & Parking Services, Citation Payment, 160 Bevis Hall, 1080 Carmack Road, Columbus, OH 43210.
If you are on hold for unpaid citations (the citations you receive at Gateway do count as OSU citaitons, so they will put a student's account on-line if not paid or appealed within 15 calendar days of issuance) and are paying in person or on-line, holds are automatically removed the evening of payment at 12:00AM/midnight. If an immediate hold removal is needed, please inform a T&P customer service representative at the time of payment and the request will be given to a supervisor for submission.
If you are paying by mail, please allow several days for U.S. Postal Service delivery and two days processing/posting time for the hold to be removed. T&P is not responsible for payments lost or delayed in the mail.
If you have received a Warning for Impound on the OSU campus, all outstanding citations must be paid or you will remain in warning status and may be towed.
UNPAID CITATIONS
Citations not paid within 120 days from date of issue will be sent to the Office of the University Bursar for collection. Once overdue fees have been transferred, payment can no longer be made at Transportation & Parking Services and must be made to the Bursar's office.
Anyone with unpaid parking fines will not be permitted to register a vehicle nor purchase a permit of any type until the fines have been paid.
Any student with an unpaid citation is placed on student hold status. This prevents the student from registering for the following quarter/semester or from obtaining his/her transcripts, grades, and financial aid.
Permit holders and/or vehicles with more than $50.00 in unpaid citations not on appeal are subject to an Impound Warning when parked on the OSU campus. An Impound Warning allows an additional 48-hour period to pay the citations in full. An Impound Warning does not expire until a zero ($0.00) balance exists for the permit holder and/or vehicle.

OSU Guests (i.e. Visitors)
On the e-services visitors payment site, you will need the citation number, the violation code, and the license plate number of the vehicle. All of these items can be found on the citation itself.

OSU Affiliates (Students, Faculty, & Staff)
To use the on-line e-services students or faculty/staff payment option, you must be affiliated with the University (you will be sent to the Office of Information Technology's authentication page to virtually identify yourself) and the citation must be issued/associated to you. Citations issued/associated to other accounts (i.e. vehicle is registered through the BMV to another person, citation is issued to another person's permit, etc.) will not be shown to you from this link. These type of citations may still be paid by visiting the Visitors site.
OSU Affiliate E-Services Pay a Citation
Please note: The E-Services site (which includes citation payments) goes down nightly for regular maintenance and downloads between the hours of 11:30PM and 6:30AM. In addition, if payment is made for a citation after 9:30PM daily, the student hold will not be removed until the following business day at 9:30PM. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
TOWING AT SOUTH CAMPUS GATEWAY GARAGE
Vehicles towed from the South Campus Gateway Garage and other Campus Partners property are not taken to the OSU parking impound lot, so payment to release the vehicle cannot be made at OSU Transportation & Parking Services. The vehicles are towed to the city impound lot which is located at 2700 Impound Lot Road, Columbus, Ohio 43207. The phone number for this customer service office is (614) 645-6400.
