This color-coded campus map highlights parking lots available for early arrival parking with a current valid 2009-2010 OSU parking permit (prior to move-in on Sunday, September 20, 2009).

State Route 315 Construction Impacts Move-In Traffic
Construction occurring along along State Route 315, between I-670 and North Broadway, will significantly impact all 2009 Move-In traffic. During this time, motorists should anticipate significant inbound traffic delays and are encouraged to plan accordingly. For additional information regarding the State Route 315 construction, please visit the Ohio Department of Transportation's web site at www.BuckeyeTraffic.org/315 or you may also tune to radio station 1650 AM.

OWL Move-In - Thursday, September 17, 2009, 10am - 3pm
For Faculty, Staff, and Visitors - Some parking is restricted and several campus streets will be closed to through traffic for OWL Move-In. Motorists are strongly discouraged from driving through the campus area Thursday. Officers will be controlling traffic at major campus intersections and along the streets bordering campus. University personnel are encouraged to avoid OWL Move-In traffic by remaining parked once you park your vehicle for the day. Hospital employees are encouraged to enter campus at West 9th Avenue and Neil Avenue, King Avenue and Cannon Drive, and at Herrick Drive and Cannon Drive. Student Move-In - Sunday, September 20, 2009, 7am - 3pm
For Faculty, Staff, and Visitors - Parking is restricted on Move-In Sunday and several campus streets will be closed to through traffic. Motorists are strongly discouraged from driving through the campus area on Sunday. Officers will be controlling traffic at major campus intersections and along the streets bordering campus. University personnel working on move-in day are asked to plan for early arrival to campus to avoid peak traffic flow and to allow for inevitable delay in any movement about campus throughout the day. Hospital employees are encouraged to enter campus at West 9th Avenue and Neil Avenue, King Avenue and Cannon Drive, and at Herrick Drive and Cannon Drive. Student Move-In Tow Away Zones
To clear the designated parking areas for students who are moving in, on Sunday, September 20, ANY vehicles in the following parking zones after 3 a.m. will be towed from and relocated to the following areas:

Tow Away Zone Relocation Zone
North Campus Area
Curl Drive (and adjacent lots) ROTC parking lot
Neilwood Gables lot ROTC parking lot
Blackburn / Nosker ROTC parking lot
Tuttle 3 & 4 lots ROTC parking lot
Alternate parking in the North Campus Area - Those with current permits may park in the Arps and Tuttle Garages at no charge from 5pm on Saturday, September 19 until 11pm on Sunday, September 20, 2009.
South Campus Area
Hale lot south of 11th Ave. garage
Highland and 11th Ave. lot (Lot U) south of south campus basketball courts (Lots P &M)
Hunter and 11th Ave. lot (Lot Q) south of south campus basketball courts (Lots P &M)
Hunter and 10th Ave. lot (Lot R) south of south campus basketball courts (Lots P &M)
12th Ave., between Neil Ave. and College Rd. south of south campus basketball courts (Lots P &M)
Alternate parking in the South Campus Area - Those with current permits may park in the Neil Ave., 11th Ave., or 9th Ave. Garages at no charge from 5pm on Saturday, September 19 until 11pm on Sunday, September 20, 2009.
Stadium and Towers Area
South Lincoln Tower lot / Lincoln Tower Loop Pharmacy lot
West Stadium lot / Morrill Tower Loop Northwest Stadium lot
Northeast Stadium lot / Southeast Stadium lot Southeast Stadium lot, east of Tuttle Park Place
Alternate parking in the Stadium and Towers Area- Those with current permits may park in the South French Field House lot, Sisson Lot, or Polo Lots at 10th & Cannon from 5pm on Saturday, September 19 until 11pm on Sunday, September 20, 2009.
10th Avenue Area
10th Ave., between Neil Ave. and Worthington lots behind 45 & 33 West 11th Ave.

TOW AWAY ZONES ALSO INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

  • All residence hall loading zones and service drives, and any parking spaces adjacent to these buildings
  • All dining commons loading zones and service drives

*Vehicles are towed at the owners expense ($90.00 towing fee).

CAMPUS AREA BUS SERVICE (CABS) FOR MOVE-IN
On Sunday, September 20th, 2009, a Move-In Shuttle will provide service from approximately 9am - 3pm, and will service the following on campus bus stops:

Bevis Hall
Carmack Corner
Carmack 5 Stop 1
Carmack 5 Stop 2
Carmack 4
Carmack 1
RPAC

At 3pm, the Campus Loop South will resume, which circles Central Campus, connecting all resident halls to West Campus each trip. For route service times and frequencies, please see the Campus Loop South.
