The construction of the 1,400 space Lane Avenue Parking Garage
is now scheduled to begin Monday, April 28th, 2008. The new
parking garage, which will be located at the southeast corner
of Lane Avenue and Tuttle Park Place, will create a net gain
of 1,000 parking spaces (1,400 new garage) in the north campus
area. The garage is estimated to open early Winter Quarter
2010. The loss of 400 surface parking spaces will impact daily
parking availability and may create a “ripple effect”
in other areas of campus as customers relocate to new areas.
Visitor Parking Alternatives
Departments may direct visitors to park in the Tuttle
Park Place parking garage and pay the hourly fee. Visitors
may also park in the surface lot north of St. John Arena and
purchase their parking by using the Pay-and Display machines.
