Transportation & Parking Services respects your privacy and we are committed to protecting it. Transportation & Parking Services provides this Privacy Statement to inform you of our Privacy Policy, practices and how your personal information is used and maintained by our office.  

Transportation & Parking Services does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists and will not disclose this information to anyone unless required by law to do so. 

In an effort to deliver the parking or transportation services you have requested, such as on-line parking permit registration, citation payments, and citation appeals, it is necessary that we collect and maintain your personal information. We use the Office of Information Technology's authentication web site to authenticate the customer prior to displaying any personal information. OIT requires the OSU username and password of Students, Faculty, and Staff to prove identification on-line. This process prevents others from accessing your account and allows us to deliver our services more efficiently by verifying your identity up front. Once authenticated, Transportation & Parking Services switches you to a secure server where you will then both be able to view and input personal information.

Transportation & Parking Services may also use your personal information to send reminders of permit renewal dates, citations issued to your account, appeal decisions, and may also contact you for your input on departmental surveys to conduct research about your opinion of current services or of potential new services that may be offered.
